Scope and accountability
This policy applies to Cornerstone Marketing Inc. and the Cornerstone Market Intelligence newsroom. It covers information submitted through inquiry forms, newsletter forms, direct correspondence and normal website operations.
Information we collect
We collect only information reasonably needed to respond to inquiries, provide requested communications and operate the website.
- Name, company name, ticker, work email and inquiry details submitted through forms.
- Press release, company or source links supplied by a visitor.
- Newsletter email address and consent records.
- Basic technical logs such as IP address, browser information, request time and requested page for security and reliability.
How we use information
Information is used to respond to requests, evaluate newsroom submissions, provide opted-in communications, prevent abuse, maintain security and improve website operations.
- Cornerstone does not sell personal information.
- Information submitted for a newsroom inquiry is not published unless the sender separately authorizes publication or it is already public.
- Marketing emails are sent only where consent or another lawful basis exists.
Service providers
The website may use third-party providers to process forms, newsletters, security checks, hosting and content delivery. These providers process information only for the services they supply to Cornerstone.
- EmailJS for browser-based inquiry delivery.
- EmailOctopus for newsletter subscriptions and unsubscribe management.
- Google reCAPTCHA where enabled for automated-abuse prevention.
- Hosting, email, security and content-delivery providers needed to operate the website.
Retention and protection
Inquiry records are normally retained for up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction, unless a longer period is required for an active engagement, legal obligation or dispute. Newsletter records are retained until unsubscribe or deletion. Security logs are retained only as long as reasonably required for troubleshooting and protection.
- Access is limited to people who need the information for their work.
- Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used.
- No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction or deletion of personal information held by Cornerstone, subject to legal and operational exceptions. Newsletter recipients may unsubscribe through the link in each message.
