Our newsroom follows material public-company developments and market themes that can be verified through identifiable public sources. Coverage can include financings, acquisitions, regulatory filings, exploration results, operating updates, leadership changes, technology developments and sector-level analysis.
How editorial decisions are made
Independent editorial coverage is selected without issuer payment or pre-publication approval. Reporting is expected to add verifiable context or analysis beyond the underlying announcement. A discrete development may begin with one primary source, while broader analysis uses additional filings, government records or attributable reporting where they materially improve the story.
Ownership and commercial separation
Cornerstone Market Intelligence is the editorial publication operated by Cornerstone Marketing Inc. The parent company separately provides commercial marketing services to public companies. When a covered company has a commercial relationship with the parent company, the article is labeled Sponsored coverage. Sponsored coverage is kept out of the dedicated Google News feed during the current editorial-first phase and is never relabeled as independent reporting.
Authorship and accountability
Newsroom articles carry a named byline. Drew Lien serves as writer and editor, with a public author profile and professional identity link. Publication dates, source links, corrections access and ownership information are displayed across the newsroom.
Sources and verification
Primary sources are preferred, including regulatory filings, exchange notices, government records, court documents, patent records and official releases. Secondary reporting is added when it provides independent context, comparison or corroboration and can be clearly attributed.
Corrections
Material factual errors are corrected as soon as practical. We do not change an article's original publication date simply because a page was redesigned, a link was maintained or a site-wide technical update occurred. See the corrections policy for the full process.
