At a glance
  • Dynasty Gold completed ten holes totaling 2,400 metres and began a metallurgical drill phase designed to test grindability and gold recovery at Thundercloud.
  • Dynasty Gold completed an initial ten-hole, 2,400-metre diamond-drilling round at its Thundercloud property in northwestern Ontario and moved into drilling designed to collect representative material for metallurgical testing.
  • The completed holes targeted surface-accessible mineralization in the South Pelham area and down-plunge extensions of the Pelham deposit. The property is located in the Manitou-Stormy Lakes greenstone belt, about 47 kilometres southeast of Dryden.

The development

Dynasty Gold completed an initial ten-hole, 2,400-metre diamond-drilling round at its Thundercloud property in northwestern Ontario and moved into drilling designed to collect representative material for metallurgical testing.

The completed holes targeted surface-accessible mineralization in the South Pelham area and down-plunge extensions of the Pelham deposit. The property is located in the Manitou-Stormy Lakes greenstone belt, about 47 kilometres southeast of Dryden.

The metallurgical phase will collect core across different locations and gold grades within areas the company is considering for a potential open-pit development concept. Testing is expected to evaluate grindability, chemical-leach recovery, gravity-recoverable gold and possible recovery optimization.

Dynasty said additional drilling may test near-surface, on-strike extensions. The company also appointed resource-sector investor and consultant Jean-David Moore as a business adviser, although that appointment does not alter the project’s technical status.

Metallurgical testing can identify a viable processing path, but it does not establish reserves or project economics by itself. Results must eventually be integrated with resource confidence, mine design, capital and operating costs, permitting and environmental work.

Why this matters

Representative metallurgical samples are necessary to understand how gold may be recovered from the deposit and which processing assumptions are defensible.

The work follows resource-expansion drilling and can help connect geological scale with a practical development concept.

Industry and company context

Thundercloud hosts the Pelham gold deposit, which was covered by an NI 43-101 resource estimate completed in 2021.

Dynasty is evaluating near-surface mineralization while continuing to test extensions of the known system.

How to evaluate the update

Metallurgical results should be reviewed across representative grade and rock-type domains rather than a single composite sample.

Recovery percentages are most meaningful when paired with grind size, reagent use, mass pull and variability data.

Execution and risk considerations

Metallurgical recovery may vary across the deposit or require a more complex process than initially expected.

A technically recoverable resource may still be uneconomic after mining, processing, infrastructure and permitting costs.

What to watch next

  • Assays from the completed 2,400-metre drill round.
  • Metallurgical recovery, variability and grindability results.
  • Any updated resource or economic-study timeline.

Cornerstone perspective

Dynasty is adding the processing data needed to evaluate Thundercloud as more than a geological inventory.

The strongest outcome would be repeatable recovery across representative samples, followed by a current integrated resource and economic assessment.
