At a glance
  • All eight new drill holes reported September 21 returned significant gold mineralization at the O’Brien Gold Project.
  • OB-26-385W5 returned 68.24 g/t Au over 6.20 metres, including 384.01 g/t Au over 1.0 metre.
  • Radisson says 106 of 128 holes reported since December 2024 have returned grades and thicknesses consistent with the project’s mineral resources.

Eight new holes add another strong set of O’Brien results

Radisson Mining’s September 21 update adds eight more significant gold-bearing drill holes to the deep exploration story at its 100%-owned O’Brien Gold Project in Québec’s Abitibi region. The standout hole, OB-26-385W5, returned 68.24 grams per tonne gold over 6.20 metres, including 384.01 g/t Au over 1.0 metre and a second one-metre interval grading 28.68 g/t Au.

The new results came from two clusters of pilot holes and wedge branches beneath the former O’Brien mine. Radisson is using that directional drilling approach to define multiple quartz-sulphide-gold veins across a vertical interval that now reaches roughly 1,000 metres beneath the historic workings.

That combination of grade and repeatability is what makes the latest batch notable. The September 21 release was not built around a single isolated intercept: every one of the eight holes reported meaningful gold mineralization.

The program is continuing to build scale below the historic mine

Radisson’s ongoing step-out campaign totals 140,000 metres and is designed to test the broader scope of the mineralized system at O’Brien. The company has been progressively drilling below and east of the former mine while also testing areas inside the geological model that had seen little or no prior drilling.

The company’s modern drilling has traced high-grade vein mineralization to depths approaching two kilometres elsewhere at O’Brien. The new holes strengthen the picture in the deep mine-east area by adding more intersections within a system of sub-parallel veins and mineralized alteration envelopes.

For a project with a long mining history, the modern campaign is effectively extending the geological picture into ground that was never tested at today’s drill density. Each successful wedge can add information to several nearby veins while making the next directional target more precise.

An 83% hit rate gives the step-out campaign unusual consistency

Radisson’s running table of results shows 106 of 128 holes reported since December 2024 have returned intercepts with grades and thicknesses the company considers consistent with its mineral resources. That works out to an 83% hit rate across a program specifically designed to step beyond the currently defined resource areas.

The September 21 batch itself recorded an eight-for-eight result. Other highlights included 27.27 g/t Au over 3.3 metres in OB-26-385W8, 18.13 g/t Au over 2.0 metres in OB-26-385W7 and 8.14 g/t Au over 5.50 metres in OB-25-378W4.

The consistency across different holes and multiple vein intercepts gives Radisson a growing dataset for future resource modelling, while the deeper drilling continues to test how far the system can extend beneath the historical mine footprint.

O’Brien’s 2026 work is connecting drilling with resource growth

Radisson entered 2026 with a fully funded 140,000-metre program and published an updated mineral resource estimate in March that incorporated earlier step-out success. That update increased inferred resources by 82% to 1.69 million ounces at 5.08 g/t Au, while indicated resources were estimated at 0.63 million ounces at 5.59 g/t Au.

The latest drill results continue the same sequence: test new ground, establish continuity, and feed additional geological information into the project model. With mineralization described by the company as open in every direction, the ongoing drilling gives O’Brien a clear path for continuing to build its technical dataset through the remainder of the campaign.
