West Point Gold Corp. (TSXV: WPG) (OTCQX: WPGCF) reported new drilling from the NE Tyro Zone at its Gold Chain Project in Arizona. Reverse-circulation hole GC26-168 intersected 56.4 metres grading 4.24 g/t gold from 242.3 metres, including 28.9 metres grading 7.77 g/t gold.
The company said the hole was drilled approximately 20 metres below GC26-161 and widened the high-grade zone at depth. GC26-161 returned 68.2 metres grading 2.20 g/t gold, including 34.3 metres grading 3.57 g/t gold.
NE Tyro remains open to depth, and the results continue to add definition to the deeper mineralized system as West Point advances Gold Chain toward its planned maiden resource work.
