What was announced

West Point Gold reported a major step-out result from hole GC26-148 at the NE Tyro Zone. The hole intersected 66.2 metres grading 6.57 g/t gold from 219.0 metres, including 20.7 metres grading 18.25 g/t gold.

The broad interval is associated with quartz-calcite-adularia stockwork, veining and breccia. The result extended high-grade mineralization to more than 250 metres below surface, with the zone remaining open at depth and along strike.

The company completed more than 21,000 metres of drilling in the program and said additional assays were pending for incorporation into its ongoing resource evaluation.
