VisionWave is trying to connect several defense technologies into one architecture
VisionWave’s strategy is best understood as a platform approach rather than a collection of isolated products. The company is developing AI-driven sensing, radio-frequency technology, autonomous systems and computational tools that are intended to work together under the broader STRATUM framework.
That matters because modern defense systems increasingly depend on fusing information from several sensors and platforms. A ground vehicle may need camera perception, RF awareness, communications and autonomous decision support at the same time. Foresight cooperation adds mature 3D perception to the autonomy stack
In August, Foresight Autonomous Holdings and VisionWave signed a strategic cooperation agreement focused on next-generation autonomous defense and unmanned ground systems. The framework calls for integration of Foresight’s stereoscopic 3D perception and computer-vision technology into VisionWave’s VARAN modular unmanned ground vehicle platform.
Foresight’s technology uses visible-light and infrared cameras with image-processing algorithms to create depth-aware perception. For an autonomous defense platform, that type of perception can complement RF and other sensing technologies by providing a richer understanding of terrain, obstacles and potential threats.
The cooperation also targets opportunities in South Korea, Japan, India, Singapore and other global markets. That gives the relationship both a technical purpose and a commercial direction, which is a more useful combination than a partnership that exists only as a technology memorandum.

SaverOne expands VisionWave’s RF capability and operating relationships
VisionWave and SaverOne completed all stages of their strategic transaction in June, deepening a collaboration around RF sensing for defense, homeland security and critical infrastructure. SaverOne has demonstrated RF-based detection capabilities in limited-visibility and non-line-of-sight environments, areas where conventional optical systems can be constrained.
The companies have identified potential applications that include counter-drone detection, threat identification, infrastructure protection, urban situational awareness and autonomous systems. Those use cases fit naturally with VisionWave’s broader focus on multi-modal sensing.
The strategic value is the ability to combine complementary technologies rather than forcing one sensor type to solve every problem. RF, cameras and autonomous decision systems each contribute different information; the more effectively VisionWave can fuse them, the more complete the platform can become.

Stratonex gives the company a route into UK and European markets
Technology development is only one side of a defense company’s challenge. Government and defense markets also require local relationships, procurement knowledge, integration support and an understanding of sovereign deployment requirements. VisionWave’s July agreement with Stratonex Defence Technologies is designed to address that commercial layer.
Stratonex was appointed as a strategic commercialization, integration and sovereign-delivery partner for the United Kingdom, Europe and other mutually agreed markets. The company is co-founded by former UK Member of Parliament Ben Everitt, who also serves on VisionWave’s advisory board.
That relationship gives VisionWave a defined partner responsible for helping turn technical capabilities into market opportunities. For a U.S.-listed company pursuing international defense customers, having a commercialization framework in-region can be as important as adding another prototype.
The IP portfolio is becoming broader and more deliberate
VisionWave has continued to file intellectual property around technologies that extend beyond a single defense platform. DeepWave RF, for example, is an AI-powered subsurface sensing and visualization concept designed for drilling, geological exploration and other industrial applications. The July non-provisional filing describes a system combining software-defined radio, near-bit sensing, edge computing and physics-informed AI.
Elsewhere in the portfolio, SkyWeave is aimed at intelligent high-frequency communications for satellite-denied or infrastructure-denied environments, while GhostSight addresses a hybrid passive-radar architecture. SDNN is intended as a neural-network architecture for distributed autonomous systems, and xCalibre provides AI video-intelligence capabilities.
The common thread is the combination of sensing, communications and machine intelligence. VisionWave is attempting to create reusable technical building blocks that can serve multiple defense and industrial applications rather than betting the company on one hardware product.

STRATUM is becoming the organizing brand for the platform
In August, VisionWave filed an international trademark application for its STRATUM platform covering the European Union, United Kingdom, Israel and United Arab Emirates. The filing is commercially relevant because it reflects the company’s intention to present its technology as a unified international platform.
A recognizable platform identity can help simplify a technically complex company. Instead of customers having to understand every internal product name separately, STRATUM can act as the umbrella through which sensing, autonomy and intelligence capabilities are presented.
The filing also matches VisionWave’s broader international strategy. Technology cooperation with Foresight, commercialization through Stratonex and potential perimeter-security expansion through D-Fence all fit more naturally when they are presented as pieces of one operating architecture.

VisionWave’s current leadership page lists Doug Davis as CEO and executive chairman and Dr. Danny Rittman as chief technology officer. The broader executive team also includes finance and operations leadership, while the advisory board includes former UK Member of Parliament Ben Everitt and retired Israeli Vice Admiral Eliezer Marum.
Davis brings public-company, capital-markets and M&A experience, while Rittman leads technology development across AI, sensing and advanced computing. VisionWave’s August term sheet with D-Fence outlines a proposed acquisition of a controlling interest in an Israeli developer of AI-powered perimeter security and electronic fencing systems. The parties said they were targeting a definitive agreement by September 30, with closing contemplated afterward subject to due diligence, approvals and customary conditions.
The opportunity is strategically coherent with VisionWave’s existing direction because perimeter security adds a fixed-site use case to a platform already aimed at air, land and sensing applications. If completed, it could broaden the company’s customer exposure across governments, defense organizations and critical-infrastructure operators.
